The printed hard copy items in the publication scheme are free unless otherwise stated and can be ordered from the General Enquiries Helpdesk, Ordnance Survey, Romsey Road, SOUTHAMPTON, SO16 4GU, phone: 08456 05 05 05, fax 023 8079 2615 or by personal application at the same address. Send your request to them, giving the full title of the publication and stock code number (see publications table).

The other items in the scheme are electronic documents in, for example, Word or .pdf, and can be downloaded free of charge from the web site.

To read .pdf documents you will need Adobe^® Acrobat Reader^®, which is free and available from Adobe.

Requests for multiple printouts, or for archived copies of documents that are no longer available on the web, will attract a charge for the cost of retrieval, photocopy, postage and so on. We would let you know this at the time of your request (the charge would be payable in advance).

Glossy or other bound paper copies, or in some cases a CD-ROM, video or other mediums, are charged as in our publication list available from General Enquiries Helpdesk (address as detailed above).

If you wish to reuse or reproduce our publications, for example, commercially or for circulation for education and similar purposes, you will in most cases need to apply for a copyright licence for this.
