Outbound links

We only provide outward links from our site to those companies or organisations that we have business connections with. These would include:

• Our business partners, including Ordnance Survey Mapping and Data Centres, Maps@ Stockists, Approved Educational Suppliers and Licensed Partners;
• The 'N' organisations, including NLIS and NLUD;
• Related government departments/initiatives;
• Other national mapping agencies;
• Our corporate charities;
• Our sponsorship partners;
• Organisations linked to us through marketing campaigns; and
• Universities linked to us through research projects.

Inbound links

We request that anyone wanting to create a link to our web site contacts us before doing so. We welcome links to or from other sites providing they meet the criteria outlined below:

• Only those organisations covered by the outward links list above may use our Corporate Mark (logo) as a hyperlink; 
• If other organisations or companies wish to establish a hyperlink, then it must be text only (no Corporate Mark).
• In all cases, the link must open a new window and not load into an existing frame (that is, not make our information look like part of your site).
• We will not reasonably refuse a request for an inward link, provided that the organisation is reputable and would cause us no business or political embarrassment.
• The 'linker' must maintain the correct URL at all times.
