‘Starting from the beginning of the South West Coast Path, this route follows the shore line at first before skirting the village of Studland and then going on to The Foreland (more commonly known as Old Harry Rocks). From there, the route continues to climb across Ballard Down with fine views across Swanage in one direction and Poole Harbour in the other. A short descent and a stiff climb takes you to Dean Hill then across the gold course, before gradually dropping down across Studland Heath and back to the ferry.’
