Please find below a selection of information to help you understand the pricing and licensing of Ordnance Survey products and links to registration and the ordering process. Please read the paragraphs below that relate to existing and new customers, then select the appropriate column in next steps for further guidance.

Where to start with pricing and ordering?


If you are an existing customer with an online ordering service login, please use the online ordering service. to obtain a price for a product.

Our products are available for supply under the Framework Contract (Direct Customers). This is an umbrella document that defines the relationship between you, the customer, and Ordnance Survey. It sets out the general rights and obligations between us. You will only need to sign or agree to this document once and it will then cover you for your future data orders. You will also need to either sign the Data Contract terms for any product not available through our online ordering service, or in the case of products available through our online ordering service a Data Contract is created when we send you an online order confirmation. The combination of the Data Contract and Framework Contract (Direct Customers) constitutes your contract for this product.


Once your order has been processed, we will deliver your data either on a CD or DVD (depending on the size of data files). Or you may be able to download it directly. You may also wish to consider having your data supplied online using OS OnDemand, which delivers our mapping over the web directly to your organisation (only applies to certain products and separate charges apply).

NOTE: Public Sector Mapping Agreement (PSMA) and One Scotland Mapping Agreement (OSMA) customers should log-in to their members area and refer to the Products Section to order data available under their Agreements.
