OS Street View® is as a contextual street level map data product. Its primary uses to support applications that need the answers to the ‘where can I find’ question.

It has been specifically designed to provide a context for street level applications. The cartographic styling of this product emphasises features such as road carriageways, road names and their Department of Transport road number. Street names are cartographically placed to provide a clear picture of the landscape for any location.

Major public buildings are highlighted and annotated in a product that is easy to use. The resolution and content make it an ideal map data backdrop on which to display thematic and statistical data at local area resolution.

An editable colour palette has been included in the product design to provide users with a mechanism to be able to customise the colours on the map so that it provides the best support to your information.
