Managing Oxfordshire's road network
Oxfordshire has seen higher than average traffic growth and, to manage traffic levels and improve the road network, its county council uses the Integrated Transport Layer of OS MasterMap as the prime source for all its street data.
OS MasterMap® Topography Layer
Our flagship large-scale, polygonised and seamless topographic database product, it offers clear and customisable on-screen mapping, plus the facility to overlay your own data.
OS MasterMap® Integrated Transport Network™ Layer
An accurate, detailed and up-to-date digital map of Great Britain’s road structure, it shows all navigable roads across Great Britain and route information such as width, weight and height restrictions that will assist your drivers' choice of route.
Containing the precise coordinates of over 29 million residential and commercial properties in Great Britain, as well as structures without postal addresses, this provides the most accurate and up-to-date link between any address and its location.
You will need specialist software, often referred to as a geographical information system (GIS), to gain maximum benefit from our data products. Our partners provide services ranging from licensing off-the-shelf software right through to building you a bespoke solution that embeds our products.
