Bob Goodrich

Director of Information Systems

Bob is responsible for our entire technology infrastructure. This includes the implementation of our seamless database management system, recognised as the world’s largest and most complex geospatial production database, which will improve the consistency, speed and flexibility of how we maintain, store and generate our core geospatial data. Bob was previously the Programme Director. 

He originally trained as an Ordnance Survey cartographer before moving to Research and Development, and finally Information Systems. It was there that he was instrumental in the 2001 delivery of OS MasterMap, the largest seamless geospatial database in the world at that time.
