Ian Nunn
Director of Finance and Corporate Services
Ian leads our Finance and Corporate Services Departments as well as the Programme Delivery Unit, Procurement and Legal. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and has extensive experience in the private sector and in publicly-funded businesses.
Ian joined Ordnance Survey in November 2012 from the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG), where he headed up a company to deliver a post games legacy for community sport – The Join in Trust. Between 2000 and 2010 he was the Finance Director at Eurostar and prior to that he held senior financial positions in Courtaulds Textiles, Elf and Invensys. Ian has always been a keen sportsman and he is currently Non-Executive Chairman of the Group Audit Committee at The FA.
Having graduated from Durham University, Ian began his career in finance in London, although he worked for three years for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Lyons, France and was based with his family in the Pas-de-Calais when working for Courtaulds Textiles. He moved back to the UK soon after joining Eurostar and lives in North Hampshire.
