Please could Ordnance Survey provide the dates of revisions [in relation to the aerial photograph], and when these became available to the public, since these revisions were not available to the local authorities until April 2009.
Thank you for your clarification e-mail dated 4th January 2010. Having undertaken further investigation, I am pleased to advise that we have been able to source the following information in response to your request.
The extract of aerial photography to which you refer was captured on 10th October 2005, at a height of 5200ft above mean sea level and 5000ft above mean ground level.
The date on which the mapping is recorded as being ready for release is 2nd October 2006, although customer supply can be 6 six weeks or sometimes longer behind the mapping release. The aerial photography in question was ingested in OS Mastermap imagery product on 8th March 2007.
Please note that your enquiry has been processed to Freedom of Information guidelines. As all requested information has been provided, we have determined that in all the circumstances of this case the Public interest consideration (section 17 FOIA) is not applicable in this instance.
