Overhauling county series maps

‘In your last message you say:-“The 1972 edition was an initial version of the National Grid Titles created by conversion from the County Series.  This version was created by a survey carried out in January 1971. SPxxxx was created by ‘Overhaul’ of the relevant County Series mapping. Overhauling is the process of refashioning County Series mapping to adequate National Grid standards. “
