Ordnance Survey Act 1841

‘If the powers of the Ordnance Survey Act 1841 ceased on 31.12.1846 and this was only corrected 28 years later, in 1874, could you please let me know what information the OS has to show that maps prepared by the OS during those 28 years were lawfully prepared under the OSA1841?’

We hold no information in relation to the powers of the Ordnance Survey Act ceasing on 31.12.1846 or there being a correction of the Ordnance Survey Act of 1841 in 1874.
