Software systems

I was wondering if there were any whitepapers or technical documents which explain the following:

1) High level architecture (table schemas, workflow) of Ordnance Survey system (map, fulfillment)

2) Document which outlines the multiple software systems that are being tied together to run the Ordnance System?

Thank you for your e-mail dated 14th January 2010. We are pleased to provide you with two attachments to this e-mail.

The first (Information b.jpg) is diagram showing the main OS software systems, and the relationships between them.

The second (Information c.xls) is a spreadsheet listing the systems shown on the diagram, and provides a brief description of their purpose. Please note we have not provided descriptions for the bottom four tiers of the diagram (Database / Security / Messaging / Operating System) as these are all standard off-the-shelf software products.
