Accuracy of Large scale Mapping leaflet

Ordnance Survey published a leaflet in September 1998 on mapping accuracy. It was entitled "Accuracy of Large scale Mapping". I would like you to provide me with a copy of this document. I was advised by customer service to use the FOI act as the means by which to obtain it.'

Thank you for your e-mail dated 4th November 2010. I regret to inform you that the document you have requested is now obsolete, and Ordnance Survey does not retain or hold any copies of it.

However, we are pleased to provide you with the attachment (xxxxxx – INFORMATION – FOI10114) with regard to your request. This attachment is our ‘Customer Information - Accuracy of Large Scale Mapping’ from September 1996, which will provide the applicable accuracy information for the same time as the leaflet to which you refer above.

Please note that your enquiry has been processed according to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000. As all the requested information that is held has been provided, we have determined that in all the circumstances of this case the Public interest consideration (section 17 FOIA) is not applicable in this instance.
