OS Insightâ„¢

The OS Insight framework

OS Insight encompasses four strands, each underpinned by communication at appropriate stages of the product life cycle from concept to withdrawal.

Product Life cycle

OS Insight Framework
  • Strategy Insight: High-level product strategy briefings at a senior level. The exchange of ideas (under non-disclosure) in forward planning over the longer term (two—five years). The aim is to ensure those major initiatives, which require significant investments capable of bringing large-scale benefits to customers, are planned appropriately.
  • Product Insight: Information exchange for participating key customers and partners over the medium term (one—three years). The information will relate to product or product groups and provide detail on release plans and road maps, and the priorities for meeting customer requirements.
  • Interest groups: Information exchange for communities of key customers and partners with interest in a specific product requirement and specifications.
  • Early adopter programme: Members of Interest groups who are licensed to use illustrative, test and prelaunch live data in order to evaluate and develop products and software.
