Ordnance Survey – Great Britain's national mapping agency
Welcome to the Geography Teacher Educator (GTE) GIS resource's page. This page has been created to provide a focal point for obtaining information which can be used by GTEs.
Ordnance Survey, the Geographical Association (GA), the Royal Geographical Society with IBG and schools' GI software partners are providing a variety of resources to help you deliver GI to your students. Information will be hosted on this page and on the GA website.
This page provides a source of Ordnance Survey information which has been presented at PGCE workshops at schools of education. This is a developing resource to direct those interested in geographical information systems (GIS), to other websites which will assist with demonstration or downloadable software and further GI teaching resources.
