Nottingham GPS station (NOTT) is to be demolished later this month, please do not rely on data from this site after 13/08/2007. The replacement station is at Keyworth (KEYW) and data going back to 21/07/2007 is available for this station.

31st July, 2007

Butt of Lewis GPS station (BUT1) has been disconnected from the Active network. The last data for this station is 31/07/2007 session 14:00 - 15:00 (GPS time). Other stations - BENB, KINL, and ULLA are now available in the area. A new station at Stornoway is planned.

10th August, 2006

Please be aware that between 7th August and 31st August Newcastle (NEWC) may be affected by electrical power cuts. The receiver will not be logging during these cuts. This is due to major electrical works on site.

25th May, 2006

Data from the Isle of Man stations IOMN and IOMS is not currently being downloaded while work takes place on the communication equipment. Data is being recorded locally at the sites and will be recovered when the comms are working again.

When the comms are repaired we expect to only reconnect IOMS to the network. New data from IOMN will not be available

26th April, 2006

Due to a server error some RINEX data files from the following stations:
CAMBorne, INVErness, KINGs Lynn, LEEDs, LONDon, NEWCastle, NOTTingham, Southampton (OSHQ), may contain an incorrect antenna code - 'ASH700936A_M SNOW'.

The correct antenna code for the above stations except CAMB is
'ASH700936E SNOW'. CAMB's antenna code is 'ASH700936D_M SNOW'

RINEX files from 17^th to 18^th April (Days 107 & 108) and 20^th to 21^st April (Days 110 & 111) are likelt to be most effected.

All correct antenna and receiver codes are contained in the station information table (.xls file) here.

25th - 26th March, 2006

OS Net services are planned to be down during Saturday 25th March from 09:00. This is to enable us to load, configure and test new software and server memory. Real-time services will be effected and there may be some small loss of RINEX data.

The Service may be available during 25th but service *may* be interrupted or intermittent over the whole weekend.
