River Network Dataset

What is a river network dataset?

A dataset created by a Partner, using or which contains OS MasterMap® Topography Layer Hydrology Theme but no other Ordnance Survey data.

Summary of Conditions of Use

a) Restrictions on partners:

  • Can only grant Standard Licensed Use rights to end-users.
  • Partner restrictions also apply to resellers.  Resellers are also only permitted to use the licensed data for the promotion of the River Network Dataset on paper products subject to certain conditions.

 b) Restrictions on End-users:

  • End-users are permitted to use the river network dataset for a maximum duration of one year but such licences may be renewed for any number of additional periods which do not exceed one year
  • End-user only entitled to use data in accordance with our Standard Licensed Use Terms.

 Pricing

Royalties are based on the area of the partner’s River Network Dataset licensed and the number of end-user terminals on which the data can be displayed.  Terminal banding discounts apply.
