Reproducing our maps in the media

A large range of Ordnance Survey maps are available to download and reuse, for free, from the OS OpenData service.

However, if OS OpenData does not offer the specific type of mapping you need, special arrangements have been made to allow newspapers, magazines, television and film companies to use limited amounts of our mapping free of charge to illustrate editorial content. The terms and conditions permitting such use are explained in our leaflet "Media Licensing - Reproducing maps in newspapers, magazines and on television and in films".
