This Father's Day, lucky dads across Britain can forget about aftershave and socks, and instead get their hands on a personalised map with their favourite place at the centre.

OS Select, Ordnance Survey's online site–centred map delivery service, allows you to create a full-sized OS Landranger Map with any British location of your choice right in the middle. Whether it is the town where your dad grew up, his house, favourite holiday spot, golf course or country pub, you can capture the place closest to your dad's heart and officially make him the centre of attention.

As a finishing touch, there is a range of scenic photographs to choose from to illustrate the title panel, and the facility to enter a personalised name and message for the map.

Each OS Select map is printed at a scale of 1:50,000 (2 cm to 1 km or 1¼ inches to a mile) and covers an area of 40 km by 40 km (25 miles by 25 miles). Wherever you choose to centre your map, it will contain the complete range of information featured on Ordnance Survey's standard OS Landranger Map series, including every town, village, hamlet and all roads in the selected="selected" area.

OS Select maps cost £14.49 each plus £2.50 postage and are normally despatched within five working days. Supplied flat and rolled in a tube, they are ideal for framing.
