Government initiative for national addressing
Today Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, has announced that addressing information from local authorities and Ordnance Survey will be brought together to create a ‘National Address Gazetteer Database’ to provide one definitive source of accurate spatial address data.

Insurers ramp up battle against fraud
Insurers are increasing the number of measures they are taking against fraudulent claims, according to new research by Ordnance Survey and the Insurance Fraud Investigators Group (IFIG), the UK’s leading Insurance Fraud Investigators (IFI’s).
