Ordnance Survey data is being used to show the progress of teams taking part in this year’s WaterAid 6 Peaks Challenge.
For the first time, family, friends and supporters will be able to track the progress of the teams on Ordnance Survey’s highly detailed mapping and to see how they are progressing over the weekend, making sure that they are safe and well throughout the challenge.

Ordnance Survey data is being used to help save lives and promote better driving by an award winning website for Cheshire.
Cheshire Safer Roads Partnership (CSRP) was awarded runner up in the Ordnance Survey GIS User of the Year 2010 for its use of OS OpenSpace on its website displaying locations of safety cameras and road collisions.
