Ordnance Survey staff today helped Marie Curie Cancer Care launch its first-ever local Nursing appeal in Southampton. The appeal is fronted by local nurse, Eileen Mills, one of seven nurses in Southampton who provide a free nursing service for terminally ill people who want to be cared for at home at the end of their lives.

Baroness Joan Hanham CBE, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government (CLG) has launched a brand new service to help improve the teaching of geography in schools with Dr Vanessa Lawrence CB, Director General and Chief Executive of national mapping agency Ordnance Survey.
