Meridian™ 2 is a 1:50 000 scale map allowing you to customise considerably its communication and topographic themes.
This means you can create maps to fit your needs.

- Includes two sets of information: communication (including names and roads) and topographic (including settlements and woodlands).
- Roads, settlements and other features are named.
- All features are represented as polylines (roads and rail), polygons (land areas), point (settlements) and text annotation.

Technical details
Format: DXF™ (AutoCAD® release 12 compatible). ESRI™ Shapefile. Mapinfo TAB
Data structure: Vector.
Attributes: Roads, railways, county, district, unitary authorities, coastline, settlements, hydrology and woodlands, gridded height and cartographic text.
Scale: 1:50 000.
Update frequency: Twice a year – January and July.
Supply: Online download and DVD.
Coverage: Great Britain.

NEW Styled Layer Descriptor files
Specification change notice for January 2013- Standardising of the METRES attribute for Roads and IDENTIFI0 field for County and District layers to long Integer, precision 7 for this and all future releases.
Styling for the Shapefile (ESRI®) format is available from January 2013. The style file and the styling userguide will be included with the January 2013 data.
The MapInfo TAB format styling has been updated from the January 2013 release. The styling guide above is also included with the data.
