Eligibility to qualify

A number of criteria need to be fulfilled in order to take part in this programme. They will vary depending on whether you are a customer or a partner.

As a customer or influencer, you will need to fulfill the following criteria:

  • willingness to contribute;
  • have special product knowledge or experience, preferably within Ordnance Survey products.
  • are leaders in a particular sector/customer community;
  • represent interests and/or negotiate on behalf of customer groups;
  • are recognised geographic information (GI) experts in a sector/members of trade associations/committees;

All Ordnance Survey partners and developers are eligible to join this programme. Examples of criteria that will be used in the choice of participants at all levels include:

  • specialism/experience of partner;
  • technical expertise;
  • innovation that depends upon or adds special value to our idea, product or development;
  • resource capability;
  • evidence of bona fide interest in a product or product area;
  • influence in, or commitment to, a particular market segment or sector; and
  • Intention to update applications and interfaces within an agreed timeframe in line with our product plans.
