ITN Urban Paths Theme
The OS MasterMap® Integrated Transport Network™ (ITN) Layer - Urban Paths Theme is the latest addition to the MasterMap digital mapping family. It has been created to encourage multi- modal travel in Britains towns and built up areas.
The dataset is a logical network consisting of path centrelines in a link and node structure and includes man-made footpaths, subways, steps, footbridges and cyclepaths in all urban areas of Britain over 5 km2.
The OS MasterMap Integrated Transport Network (ITN) Layer - Urban Paths Theme is the latest addition to the OS MasterMap family. It has been created to encourage multi-modal travel in Britains towns and built up areas.
The Urban Path Theme extends the functionality of the ITN Road Network Theme and Road Routing Information (RRI) Theme by using additional line links and nodes to join up path and road centrelines so users can develop their own bespoke networks combining different modes of transport.
From April 2012 we have introduced a new pricing structure that enables you to select the specific 5km tiles you require when purchasing data under our standard Framework Contract terms. Delivery of this option is via download only. The online order service shows you which 5km tiles are in the Urban Paths coverage- see example screen.
A full resupply is sent to all customers in January, April, July and October.
