OS MasterMap data publication dates

The list below shows our past and future schedules of extraction and publication dates for OS MasterMap® layers. We aim to keep these schedules up to date, but you should treat these dates as a guide only. 

These dates only apply to bespoke polygons, 'area of interest' orders and national sets – please see Managed GB Dataset information if you take a full or change only supply of a complete OS MasterMap layer.

Publication notes

All layers are available to order on DVD, via FTP or through the Download centre from Monday 15th April 2013. 

  • The missing road link in ITN on the primary route A35 south of Axminster just missed the 'cut off' date or this publication so will definitely be included next refresh.
  • The A4076 from Milford Haven to Haverfordwest has no road number attribution on road links, roundabouts and traffic island links at junctions - this affects 164 TOID references.

Please note that the OS MasterMap Topography layer does contain a very small number of overlapping polygons and 'holes' in the data. It is important to stress that these problems are transient and the application of normal Change Only Update (COU) will remove them in due course.

Ordering Change Only Updates

In the online ordering system you can choose to set up an automated COU order to be either every 2 months or every 6 months from the date you place a full supply order. The COU option must be selected at the same time as the full supply. Retrospective manual COU is no longer possible.

For example, a full supply order on the 15th April will generate a COU 2 months later on the 15th June, or 6 months later on the 15th September, depending on which option is selected on the 15th April.

You may also choose to have a Feature Validation Dataset (FVDS) file sent with your COU.

Please note COU can only be applied to CD/DVD and FTP orders.

Products with a Download option vary depending on the product; some have automated updates while others require a full manual resupply. Please check in the online service dropdowns when placing your order.
