OS MasterMap Networks - Water Layer-Alpha

OS MasterMap Networks - Water Layer is the new detailed network map of Great Britain's watercourse. Currently this is an alpha dataset with Scotland only coverage.

It has been created to a single consistent specification and a maintained standard.

It is fully interoperable with all existing layers of OS MasterMap and enables a new generation of analysis, policy development and environmental reporting.

Format: GML 3.1, ESRI Shapefile, MapInfo TAB

Data structure: Vector- toplogically structured link and node network

Attributes: Watercourse name, flow direction, TOID reference, SEPA catchment name and ID.

Scale: 1:1250 - 1:10 000

Update frequency: Alpha dataset unmaintained

Supply: DVD,

Coverage: defined Scotland extent only for Alpha launch
