OS Net infrastructure

The OS Net® infrastructure extends right across Great Britain. The OS Net base stations are able to track GPS and GLONASS satellites and are ready to track Galileo and COMPASS satellites when they become available.

In 2008–10, a subset of OS Net base stations was created that are linked to bedrock – GeoNet sites. There are 12 in total and they form a stable and framework at the heart of OS Net.
