Local Government

We have built a number of close relationships with organisations and agencies across the public sector over many years. As part of the government's response to the consultation on Ordnance Survey (published on 31 March 2010) they described an aspiration for a new public sector mapping agreement with Ordnance Survey for the provision and licensing of geographical data that would include all eligible central government, local government and NHS organisations in England and Wales.
Public Sector Mapping Agreement
From 1 April 2011, the PSMA for England and Wales replace the existing PGA, MSA and GLA agreements with Ordnance Survey.
It is expected that the PSMA will deliver significant efficiency savings and improvements in public service delivery for the benefit of citizens and communities in England and Wales, building on the success of the One Scotland Mapping Agreement (OSMA).
For more information about how the PSMA could benefit the public sector organisation you work for, read here.
Mapping Services Agreement (MSA)
The Ordnance Survey data elements of the MSA is now closed. To ensure continuity of your data arrangements, sign up to the new PSMA Member Licence.
