How do I get started with OS OpenSpace Pro?

We have created a simple Getting Started Guide for you to use.

Why do I need to use OpenSpace Pro?

If your application fits into one of the following categories:

  • Online location based services e.g. subscription services
  • Consumer devices e.g. navigation applications
  • Locating (tracking) assets e.g. fleet management
  • Viewing of a geographical area e.g. supporting decision making
  • Visualisation of statistical trends e.g. thematic mapping
  • Supporting web sites or applications that are distributed to a large audience

then you will need

  1. An appropriate Partner Contract. See Contracts.
  2. An OpenSpace Pro Service Agreement

    For consumer web sites, products and services when a fee is charged;
    For navigation products and services;
    For View, Tracking or Scheduling products and services;

If your application only uses OpenData products (free of royalty fees) only, then you will need

  1. An OpenSpace Pro Service Agreement

Applications that are free to access and meet the terms and conditions set out in the OpenSpace Developer Agreement, don’t require a commercial grade licence.

How much will OS OpenSpace Pro cost?
