The appropriate PAI migration strategy is totally dependent on your data, how it was captured and what you want from it. Any information provided here is to stimulate thought – it is not a definitive instruction.

The following links will take you to documents that aim to get you thinking, and to give you practical advice and tools to help you prepare for PAI. Reducing the impact of PAI
This document suggests a number of tools or actions an organisation could consider to reduce the impact of PAI, especially on workloads.

The PAI programme companion
The PAI companion was not produced as a comprehensive guide to the PAI programme. The companion originated as an internal briefing paper for Ordnance Survey staff. This briefing paper was then shared with the Pan–government and Local Authority PAI work groups who thought there would be great value in making it more widely available. As a result the PAI companion was produced by the PAI programme team.
