OS OnDemand
A single view of your latest data wherever you are
OS OnDemand is a web service for directly licenced customers delivering our mapping over the web directly into organisations.
The service offers you mapping of Great Britain at a range of scales, making it ideal for a huge variety of applications.
OS OnDemand is available as either a Web Map Service (WMS), which allows your organisation to have a single view of our data, or a Web Map Tile Service (WMTS-like) which makes customising maps for your website much faster. The WMTS includes a consistently styled zoom map stack that enables easier interpretation of mapping between zoom thresholds.
The WMS is based on open standards and compliant with the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC®) web services standard for use via a browser or a geographic information system (GIS).

Service details
Interface specification: WMS supports OGC WMS versions 1.1.1 and 1.3.0 collectively.
Output formats for images: PNG, GIF, JPEG, XML output format for exceptions.
Coordinate reference system: British National Grid system (EPSG:27700). WMS has two extra projections WGS84 and ETRS89.
Service levels: Available 24/7 with phone support from 08.30 to 17.30 direct to our Customer Service Centre. Service availability level is 99.7% for WMS and 99.9% for WMTS-like.
