Please note: MiniScale has been created as a vector data graphic map optimised for use within desktop graphic applications. MiniScale's use within geographical information systems (GIS) will be limited to backdrop mapping using the TIFF format only.
All MiniScale formats are supplied on one CD-ROM to enable you to select a suitable format as required.

In addition, an LZW compressed TIFF MiniScale sample, suitable for both Windows and Mac users is available: 'MiniScalesampleK8.tif' (1.6Mb).
then choose the option 'Save target as...' (Microsoft) / 'Save link as...' (Netscape) and save it to a suitable directory.
then choose the option 'download link to disk' and save it to a suitable folder.
If you haven't downloaded or used sample data before, we recommend that you read our guidance notes.
To locate MiniScale in its correct geographical position in a GIS it needs to be 'georeferenced'.
