OS MasterMap Address Layer 2 Full Release delivered with the release of OS MasterMap Version 6.3

We are pleased to inform you that the following Address Layer 2 customer benefits are included in OS MasterMap V6.3:

Customers will now have the option to receive change-only update (COU) from 19 December 2006.

  • Managed GB set customers will be able to choose either COU or full supply on a quarterly basis.
  • OS Mastermap Address Layer  and Address Layer 2 customers can selected areas of interest at the hectare level
  • Data specification has been improved following customer feedback.

Change-only update (COU) for the Integrated Transport NetworkTM (ITN) Layer

Change-only update (COU) for the ITN Layer is now available, both through the online service and Managed GB Sets. Availability dates.


Minimum Annual Contract Value

From 15 November 2004, the minimum annual contract value (MACV) of £500 is applied to each individual layer of OS MasterMap (i.e. Topography, Address, Integrated Transport NetworkTM(ITN) and Imagery). As Imagery and Address layers already have this MACV, this change will only affect Topography and ITN layers. The minimum charge for expanding an existing contract will continue to be £100 per layer. Any estimates created and saved in the 30 days leading up to this change will remain valid for 30 days as usual.
