Outline maps

A selection of free, downloadable, small-scale outline maps of Great Britain are available for you, without any cost, from Ordnance Survey. These are ideal for use in presentations, documents or for part of a printed display for educational or business use.

The maps are available in a variety of formats for your convenience including:

  • Maps with and without administrative boundaries
  • In EPS, TIFF, PDF, GIF and WMF format

If you like what you see but require more detail, we also produce a range of large format, full colour Wall maps that may be of interest.

Please Note: You must not use the images for financial gain. All hard copies and electronically published material produced from Ordnance Survey data must carry the acknowledgement:

GB Coastline and administrative boundaries

The Coastline and administrative area map shows all administrative areas of Great Britain (including the London boroughs) as at October 2009.
