Request for information – FOI13353

Thank you for your e-mail of 31 January 2013, requesting:

I am interested in the layout of Plymouth Laira Depot and the surrounding area, circa 1990 in 1:1250 scale, although any time up to the present would be acceptable.

I have retrieved a copy of the appropriate maps in the 1949 archive version from the Plymouth and West Devon records office, but these do not show many of the later changes. Whilst the library are able to supply paper copies of this information, I am looking for it in digital format.

Using the tile reference numbers from the 1949 map series, I would appreciate a copy of these tiles:

20-4955NW
20-5055NW
20-5055NE

As such, I believe you hold these in nxf format, which is acceptable to myself.

Although Ordnance Survey does hold this information, we consider it to be exempt from disclosure under ‘Information Accessible to applicant by other means’ exemption, Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000.

We consider this exemption applies because Landmark Information Group already make this information available. For further details please visit the Envirocheck website.

Section 21 is an absolute exemption and requires no public interest test.
