Request for information – FOI14464
Thank you for your letter dated 13 April 2014 and received by Ordnance Survey on 16 April 2014, which we acknowledge, asking the following information in accordance with the Freedom of Information (FOIA) Act 2000:
Please send me your yearly published Report and Accounts and the top 30 sold maps in the United Kingdom.
Ordnance Survey does hold the information to respond to your information request.
Our annual report and accounts are already published on our website and are therefore exempt from disclosure under Section 21 of the FOIA ‘Information accessible to applicant by other means’.
However, as you have requested this be ‘sent’ to you, we have provided a hard copy of our annual report and accounts for 2012-13, which is the latest available, with our response in accordance with Section 16 of the FOIA ‘the duty to provide advice and assistance’.
With regard to information concerning the top selling maps in the United Kingdom, Ordnance Survey only holds this information for our own products, consequently we are only able to provide this information for our own maps and attach this information to this letter of response. This information is based on sales for the 2012-13 financial year.
As all the requested information has been provided, we have determined that in all the circumstances of this case the Public interest consideration (section 17 FOIA) is not applicable in this instance.
Your enquiry has been processed according to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000. If you are unhappy with our response, you may request an internal review with our FOI Internal Review Officer, by contacting them as follows:
