Thank you for your email of 25 September 2015, requesting information from Ordnance Survey in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act FOIA 2000:
I should like to request the following information: the structure of the agency's IT department including, but not limited, to its hierarchy, teams sizes and contract/permanent split. I would also like to request information on whether the development team uses Java or Microsoft programming language, and if Microsoft Dynamics is used as a CRM system and if so, which version.
I can confirm that Ordnance Survey does hold the information you have requested and I am pleased to provide you with the attached PDF structure chart with regards to your request.
In answer to the specific questions I can confirm that the Ordnance Survey development team use both Java and Microsoft programming languages and we are shortly implementing a new CRM based on MS Dynamics online.

The FOI Internal Review Officer will not have been involved in the original decision. They will conduct an independent internal review and will inform you of the outcome of the review normally within 20 working days, but exceptionally within 40 working days, in line with the Information Commissioner’s guidance.
The FOI Internal Review Officer will either: uphold the original decision, provide an additional explanation of the exemption/s applied or release further information, if it is considered appropriate to do so.
