We’ve recently signed up as associate sponsors for the Dell Management Challenge 2015. If you haven’t heard of it before, the Challenge is a great chance for organisations to come together and take part in a two-day adventure race in the Brecon Beacons.
The link between sports and broader achievement is well known, as are the benefits of amateur sports on business activities like team building, communication and discipline. Based on this, the Challenge focuses on delivering benefits through:
- A two-day adventure race including canoeing, mountain biking, running and hiking.
- Management development sessions hosted by Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education and world-renowned speakers including former Olympic gold-medallist, Greg Searle, MBE.
- Charity development and fundraising activities.
Following the success of the inaugural event in 2014, we’ve teamed up with Dell and the Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education, to invite businesses to take part and develop their leadership teams while bolstering their CSR initiatives. By taking part, organisations will raise funds and offer strategic input for three charities – Action for Children, Transformation Trust and Clic Sargent.
Corporate teams of seven can sign up for the challenge, with businesses such as GE and Barclays taking part previously. As well as being sponsors, we’re putting in two teams for the Challenge. With the programme including map reading, as well as canoeing, mountain biking, running and hiking- we’d be mad not to!
