Test your racing track knowledge in our map quiz

Thousands of us will be off to Silverstone this weekend, or at least watching on TV as the British Grand Prix takes place. Silverstone is the current home of F1 in Britain, but Donington and Brands Hatch have also hosted races. There are number of other race tracks in Britain for motor-racing, motorcyles and even karting. Think you can name eight of them in our map quiz?

Our team of surveyors and our aerial flying unit capture the data to add these features to our maps, along with the other 460 million features we keep in our master map of Great Britain.  We’ve gone through our database and have eight maps showing race tracks, using our most detailed dataset, OS MasterMap. Can you name them all in our fun map quiz? Let us know the answers on the blog. And you get bonus points if you can name the two tracks that have hosted British Grand Prix, other than the three we’ve listed above…
