For vehicle routing and navigation software providers, this data gives you all you need to get your users safely to their destinations: turn, height, weight and width restrictions – and even bollards and traffic calming.

If you manage local highways, our asset management information lets your operations teams plan better in the office and avoid unnecessary site visits. By identifying points of special engineering difficulty and traffic sensitive streets, you can get the special permits you need in good time.

Put all the details your call centre operators need at their fingertips. When a water leak is reported, our asset management data lets them locate the property, street and nearest hydrant, assess the impact on nearby properties and decide if other assets are at risk.

Feature 1

Comprehensive and authoritative

OS MasterMap Highways Network - Routing & Asset Management includes our highly accurate road network geometry . It joins together OS high quality accurately surveyed data with features from the National Street Gazetteer; the Local Highways Authorities road name, numbering and maintenance; and the Trunk Road Street Gazetteer collected by Highways England and Welsh Government.

Feature 1

Driving navigation, today and tomorrow

Thanks to the full road geometry and connectivity you’ll find in OS MasterMap Highways Network - Routing & Asset Management, it’s ideal for use in routing software solutions and sat-nav devices; it also underpins the telematics technology needed by driverless vehicles.

Feature 1

Sweat your assets

Since OS MasterMap Highways Network - Routing & Asset Management dovetails with OS MasterMap Topography layer, you’ll understand precisely how roads, land and buildings exist together. This helps you make efficiency gains through insights into how capital assets can be better managed.

Feature 1

Simply designed to work

While it contains highly-detailed road geometry and tons of essential information, OS MasterMap Highways Network is designed for simplicity. It replaces a number of different network datasets and follows well-known geospatial and technical standards.

Feature 1

Delivery

Knowing turn information is half the battle when it comes to planning delivery routes. With OS MasterMap Highways Network we have gone beyond just the restrictions. We have detailed information about narrow roads and pinch points regardless of whether there is a sign restricting the access to a vehicle.

Feature 1

Reporting

By having a common understanding of the network and the information around it, OS MasterMap Highways Network can join up an organisation's common reference to roads and help your business make informed decisions around the road quickly and effectively.
