    Hi,
I have used map builder to produce my map and got the code. I have followed all the instructions on the wordpress integration tutorial, but all I get is the outline of the box.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong

    Wayne

      Hi Wayne,

If you post a link to the webpage hosting your map, I'll have a look at it to see where the problem lies.

      Kind regards,

      OS OpenSpace Team

        Hi,

Were you able to solve this problem? I am experiencing the same difficulty.

        Thanks

          Hi Peter,

Unfortunately the user never supplied the URL for the site. If you could provide a URL for your site, someone will have a look at it to see where the problem lies.

          Thanks,

          OS OpenSpace Team

            Hi,

I was able solve the problem it was caused by WordPress auto formatting the text when using the'visual' editor view. Instead of using the Raw HTML plugin I am now using Insert Html Snippet and this enables you to still use the visual editor when writing in WordPress.

Thanks for the offer to help.
            Peter

              Hello OS,

Please may I ask how to insert this map:

              https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/counties-app/

              Into my webpage:

              https://britishcounties.org/ordnance-survey/

I tried but it doesn't work, there also appears to be security errors due to detected non HTTPS links somewhere on OS side.

I am new to this so please excise the lack of knowledge.

It is for a non-profit webpage to promote the use of the real counties, I intend to acknowledge full credit once I get it working.

              Please can you help me?

              Thanks and kind regards,

              Andrew Donaldson.

                Hi Andrew,

From what I understand you have tried, we do not currently allow direct integration of our pages via iframes or similar technology, so you should not be able to include the map directly on your page this way.

The underlying boundary data can be downloaded via our OpenData offering at https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/opendatadownload/products.html this would then have to be hosted in a format and place you can access and use.
The mapping is our OS Maps API which is available on commercial plans at the moment.

You could combine the two to create your own version of the web map in a similar style to ours.

                Kind regards,

                OS OpenSpace Team
