Ennerdale Forest walk

​The English Lake District is blessed with some of the finest scenery in the United Kingdom. Its fell tops, Lakes and Tarns have inspired many an artist and poets work! The many walkways and National Park paths there cater for all abilities to enjoy these beautiful surroundings at any time of the year. I am fortunate enough to live within an hour or so of the Lake District, so it has become my playground of choice.

Glyderau Circular Walk Including Tryfan

Where else can you go where you can bag 3 of the huge Welsh 3,000 foot peaks, visit places called The Canon, Cantilever Stone, Devils Kitchen or the magnificently titled Castle of the Wind, enjoy an ending worthy of any Hollywood blockbuster and all this and never be further than 1.5 miles away from the car park.

Magical Malham walk

It’s busy in the summer but busy for a reason. This short walk packs a lot in; take in part of the Pennine Way National Trail, cross the stunning limestone pavement of Malham Cove, marvel at the enormity of Gordale Scar and get whisked away by the magical Janet’s Foss.

Llyn Brianne reservoir ride

Llyn Brianne is a spectacular reservoir nestled in the Doethie Valley, Mid Wales surround by the beautiful Tywi Forest. It was named after a stream Nant y Bryniau, which in English translates stream in the hills. This picturesque body of water is the head of the River Tywi.

The Lawley Circular Hike

The Lawley is part of the Shropshire Hills range in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Lawley is one of the smaller hills, standing next to its big brother, Caer Caradoc. It's an interesting walk, as along the ridge there are remains of an ancient settlement and hill fort.

Glamorgan Heritage Coast stretches for 14 miles along the South Wales coast. Starting at Ogmore by Sea, to St Athan in the east, following the Wales coastal path.
