OS Orders

Easily order geographic data with OS Orders.

OS Orders lets you order geographic data for your business from Ordnance Survey (OS).

It's one of the ways of getting hold of OS data for our commercial customers, public sector organisations and people using our data under our Data Exploration Licence.

Once you’re logged in to OS Orders, you can:

  • Order data
  • View your order history
  • Access your download orders for a period of 12 months from date of receipt
  • View your contract(s) with OS, including partner contracts and products your organisation is licensed to use
  • Manage the users of your account
  • Find your ftp/sftp login credentials

Please note that, to get open data, you’ll need to download it from our OS OpenData download page.

Register to use OS Orders

Whether you're a commercial customer, work for a public sector organisation or want to use OS data under our Data Exploration Licence you'll need to register using the appropriate link below before making an order through OS Orders.

When you do, you'll receive three emails; one confirming you've registered, and two containing your log-in details. You'll need to log into OS Orders using your username and password within seven days of receiving them or your password will expire.

Public sector

If you work for a public sector organisation, first check whether it's already joined the Public Sector Geospatial Agreement (PSGA) by searching our spreadsheet of members (XLSX/CSV).

If your organisation is registered, please talk to your principal contact. If your organisation isn't yet registered for the PSGA, you can register here.

Contact us if you have any questions.

Data Exploration Licence (DEL)

If you'd like to try out our data to see if it fits your needs or to develop your ideas, you can find out more about our Data Exploration Licence here, and register for it here.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
