Fraud Prevention and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policy
We take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of fraud, bribery or corruption. They are illegal and have no place in our organisation.
What is our Fraud Prevention and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policy?
We take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of fraud, bribery or corruption. We support and adhere to the aims and provisions of the Fraud Act 2006, the Bribery Act 2010 and the Economic Crime and Transparency Act 2023, and confirm our on-going commitment to carrying out our business fairly, honestly and openly.
We recognise the harm caused by fraud, bribery and corruption. As well as being criminal offences, fraud, bribery and corruption lead to financial loss and disruption. They undermine reputation, relationships, and public and business confidence, and also undermine free and fair competition between businesses.
Our zero-tolerance approach means we will:
- only deal with organisations and individuals that share our commitment to preventing fraud, bribery and corruption and will terminate any contract with an organisation or individual involved in fraud, bribery or corruption or that breach our contractual provisions or policies relating to fraud, bribery and corruption prevention
- review and monitor our policies and procedures to ensure that these support fraud, bribery and corruption prevention, detection and response, and the safe and confidential disclosure of fraud, bribery or corruption allegations
- take disciplinary action against any member of staff who actively or knowingly engages in fraud, bribery or corruption.
