Land Registry application site survey

Provide us with details to help us carry out a survey requested by HM Land Registry

To support a land registration application, HM Land Registry has asked us to carry out an independent survey to check and validate Ordnance Survey’s map detail.

Our surveyors make sure that Ordnance Survey’s mapping accurately reflects the built environment, adding updates and recording any additional information requested by HM Land Registry.

To help us successfully carry out the survey, please fill in the details below.

This form should only be used in conjunction with a 'live' HMLR caseworker request. For other queries, please use our contact form.

On the day of the survey please keep any potentially dangerous pets and other animals securely away and remove any hazards or dangers both in respect of the land and any buildings (or materials or substances in it).

Should additional access be necessary our surveyors will contact you in advance of the survey.

Our surveyors will not undertake a survey if they believe that a minor (under 18) is the only person present.

Our surveyors carry ID cards and are more than happy to produce them on request.

For details about your application, please contact your solicitor or HMLR case worker as our surveyor won’t have detailed knowledge of your application and won’t be able to comment on any aspects of it, particularly ownership.
